Nominate for the Uppsala Systemvetares board 2021/22

During Uppsala Systemvetare's annual autumn meeting on December 7th, the association's new board for the period 2021/2022 will be voted on.

Now, as a member of the association, you can nominate people who you think would do a fantastic job on the Uppsala Systemvetare board. You can nominate others and yourself.

The following roles within the board can be nominated:

Chairman Uppsala Systems Scientists
As Chairman of Uppsala Systemvetare, you are ultimately responsible for the association and for leading the work of the board. The Chairman convenes the board meeting every month and generally ensures that the board's work functions well. The Chairman, together with the Vice Chairman, is also the face of the association and is involved in representing the association during internal and external events.

Vice President Uppsala Systems Scientists
As the association's vice-chairman, together with the chairman, he is responsible for leading the work of the board. The vice-chairman, together with the chairman, is also the association's public face and is involved in representing the association during internal and external events. The vice-chairman is also responsible for the association's monthly email.

Secretary
As Secretary, you are part of the association's Board of Directors, together with the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer. The Secretary is responsible for taking notes at board meetings, writing minutes and assisting with the work within the association.

Cashier
The Treasurer is responsible for the association's finances, receipts and disbursements and budget. As Treasurer, you are also part of the association's Board of Directors, along with the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary.

Chairman of the Business and Industry Committee
As Chair of the Business Committee, you are responsible for the association's relationship with our partner companies and other partners. The Chair of the Business Committee is also responsible for organizing lunch lectures and other events with companies and representatives from the business community.

Vice Chairman of the Business and Industry Committee
As Vice Chair of the Business Committee, you support the Chair with his work within the committee.

Chairman of the Events Committee
As the chairman of the Events Committee, you are responsible for the association's events such as Gasquer, Åre resan, other sittings and other events such as pub crawls. The chairman of the Events Committee is also responsible for holding committee meetings with the Events Committee.

As Vice Chair of the Events Committee, you support the Chair with his work within the committee.

Chairman of the Education Committee
As the chair of the Education Committee, you are responsible for the association's work towards the department and the university. The chair of the Education Committee is also responsible for the association's study clubs and other education-related issues and events. The chair of the Education Committee is also responsible for holding committee meetings with the Education Committee.

Chairman of the PR Committee
The Chairman of the PR Committee is responsible for the association's communication, internal and external communication. As Chairman of the PR Committee, you are also responsible for the association's "Graphics" and their work as well as the association's social media. The Chairman of the PR Committee is also responsible for holding committee meetings with the PR Committee.

As Chair of the IT Committee, you are responsible for the association's website and other digital resources, as well as the association's Prog-pubs. The Chair of the IT Committee is also responsible for holding committee meetings with the IT Committee.
