Do you want to – in addition to studying an exciting education with good future prospects – get the most out of your study time? Then you should get involved in Uppsala Systemvetare! Here you will find everything you need for those studying the program or courses in systems science at Uppsala University.
Organize parties and pub crawls in the Events Committee, program more on programming nights and learn to create websites with the IT Committee, protect the quality of education in the Education Committee and make contacts with exciting companies in the Business Committee – with us you can do it all! Do you just want to join in and have fun? You are welcome regardless of your ambition level!
Why should I become a member?
As a member of Uppsala Systemvetare, you can attend all events that the association organizes. You can get involved as much or as little as you want! Of course, it is also fine to just be a member and take part in what the association offers.
If you encounter problems in your education, we are also there to support you.
What is needed to become a member?
To become a member of Uppsala Systemvetare, you must be a systems science student at Uppsala University – i.e. studying the bachelor's program, the course package or one of our master's programs in Uppsala. The association also has a membership fee of 150 SEK which is required to become a member.
I want to become a member! How do I proceed? Follow this checklist
Step 1: Download the Orbi app
Download the Orbi app and create an account. This is where you register for kick-off and buy tickets to all of the association's future events!
Step 2: Apply for Orbi membership
Once you have created your account in Orbi, click HERE to apply for membership in Uppsala Systemvetare, on Orbi. Click on "Buy" (it's completely free) and we will approve your application as quickly as we can.
Step 3: Choose your starter package (Inspark or Member)
Here you choose one of the following two options depending on whether you want to participate in the kick-off or not:
- Option A (I SHOULD be at the kick-off): Buy your ticket HERE. This includes both the registration fee for the kick-off (225 SEK) and the membership fee to the association (150 SEK).
- Option B (I will NOT be at the kick-off): Click HERE to only pay the membership fee (150 SEK) to the association.
Step 4: Register in eBas
After you have paid the association fee via one of the links in Step 3, you must officially register in our membership system. Create your user account in eBas HERE.
