Lunch lecture with IF: Modern systems development in insurtech!

We from If IT are happy to give a lunch lecture for Uppsala system scientists. We thought we would share with you what it is like to actually work as a developer and what can be expected along that career path. We ourselves are three alumni from Uppsala, two system scientists and one computer scientist. With this, we hope to be able to provide a better insight as we have taken almost the same courses ourselves and probably had similar thoughts about working life as you. Since system scientists consist of people with a broad spectrum of interests in IT, we will go through what it is like to work with both back-end and front-end. In addition, we will talk about another aspect; what it is like to develop internal systems for employees versus developing external systems for customers. Finally, we thought we would briefly tell you about our trainee program with a focus on full-stack development, which you will be able to apply for in the spring.

Here we also have mature DevOps Teams who develop, operate and release products in the Cloud with the support of an agile ALM process in Azure. In our own Tech-Lab we work at the forefront of today's technologies such as AI, bots, micro-services and machine learning. If IT is a central part of making the digital customer journey smooth.
