Kick-off 2025!
WELCOME TO THE AUTUMN 2025 KICK-OFF!
Are you a new student and have been accepted to Systems Science in Uppsala? Then you have come to the right place! Here you can register for the autumn kick-off, you should also have received an email with a welcome letter with more information and links to various groups and pages you should join, double check your spam and otherwise contact the association via email.
What is Insparken?
Kick-off is the ultimate period for you as a freshman to be introduced to Uppsala's fantastic student life and make lifelong friendships! Here you will be well taken care of by your godparents, captains and generals from the year above you who will keep you busy with fun events and antics - you will not have a dull second! Examples of activities that we do together are fulsittning (an introduction to Uppsala's epic gasquer), nation rounds or point hunt.
When is the Kick-off?
The kick-off takes place during the first four weeks of the program and starts on Monday, September 1. You don't have to worry about falling behind in the program - the activities will always be in the afternoons/evenings and everyone is part of this community.
Why should I join Insparken?
Because it is an incredibly fun experience that only happens during your first weeks at university! For many, it is the highlight and a nice memory during their entire study period. It is a great way to get to know your new coursemates, experience Uppsala and get an insight into the association's work for you students. We sponsors are super excited to hang out with you and come up with lots of fun and mischief!
HOW do I join?!
Step 1. Create a user account on the website, and then become a member of Uppsala Systemvetare, you do this easy here. Note that these are two separate processes.
Step 2. Register for Insparken below on this page!
Registration is made LATEST Sunday 24/8 but we recommend registering as soon as possible, you don't want to miss this! The registration fee of 225 SEK includes all events during all 4 weeks (except for the ticket to the full session which is purchased separately, more info about it will come during the kick-off!).
Step 3. Check your mailbox (NB also check Spam!) for a confirmation email from the association. The email contains all the information regarding payment. Pay the fee before on 27/8.
When you receive a confirmation email and Once you have paid the fee, you are registered for the kick-off, and we look forward to seeing you this fall!!
